Why?
I work for myself, which means I can charge accordingly. Since I don’t work for someone else, I don’t need to supplement my earnings with gratuity. My rates are based on many factors; staying in business, utilizing funds for ongoing training and experience, and most importantly being able to stay competitive and available for my clients to stay with me to facilitate healing, improvement of muscle tension, mobility and to THRIVE!
I consider myself part of a wellness practice, not part of the service industry. Beyond massage, I offer group fitness classes, personal training as well as herbal wellness with teas and tinctures – I don’t want to confuse or advocate for gratuity in one area and not another. Regardless of what area of focus or session, tipping will not be a factor.
Removing gratuity also eliminates awkwardness – after being in a wellness session or having 60 minutes of massage and relaxation, a more simplistic and no pressure way to ‘check out’ is beneficial for you and I.

Focused Area massage will be just that – chose a general or localized region of the body that needs relief – shoulders, back and neck, or maybe shoulders neck and forearms…regardless, this service will allow you to have focused customization to whatever your body needs.
